I
was thinking about going and buying a used SUV. I didn't
want a new one because of the depreciation when you drive
it off the lot, then [my company] came out with this new
program.
It
was so easy! I found the vehicle I wanted, and told Chad
what options & accessories I wanted. He was able to
save me $1,200 on the price, and an additional
$200 on the accessories. They even gave me a good trade-in
for my old car too! No hassle for me trying to sell it!
Chad
drove 300 miles to pick up my car, bring it in to get the
accessories on it, and drove it right to my front door.
He even drove off my old car!
With the money I saved through the ...Vehicle Savings program,
I was able to purchase a NEW
2003 Jeep Liberty Sport instead of a used one!
"Because of my hectic
travel schedule, it's difficult to drive to car lots, and comparison ship. It's even been
next to impossible to find the time to test drive, but Jim managed to continue to send me
leads…work with dealerships on my behalf until he found the right car for me. He never
gave up. He finally found exactly what I was looking for, a beautiful 2004 Envoy. When
I went to the bank for financing, they looked up the book value and were quite surprised
at how much lower I purchased the SUV for. The exact quote was "WOW! You got a great deal!"
The final purchase price was around $5000.00 under book according to my loan officer.
I couldn't be more thrilled with the Melaleuca Vehicle Savings Program and the personal
and patient attention I got from Jim Horak. Thank you Jim!"
- Annette Beseris, Manager of Events and Field Operations, Melaleuca
"A Runzheimer Driver: Thanks for your help Scott. I purchased the car that afternoon and
everything was nice and smooth. Truck was just what I was looking for.
Smaller than the Silverado but still big enough for my 6'4" frame. Thanks
again for your help."
-Timothy J Jordan, Regional Sales Manager, Peerless Pump Company
"Runzheimer Customer: I love my new truck and I still can't believe the price. And I could
not have been treated nicer at the dealership. I will be emailing a
short testimonial later this week. It was a most pleasant experience.
I'm so happy Runzheimer and Vehicle Advantage got together!"
-Ruth Vidoloff, Administrative Assistant, Business Vehicle Services
"Just a note to let you know how pleased we were with the Vehicle Savings Program.
We emailed in our information and that we were looking for two cars and with in one
hour we were contacted by Jim Horak from vehicle savings and by 9 PM that day we had
two vehicles. Not only did we save money but all the time that goes in to shopping
for vehicles and with no hassle. Jim was wonderful to work with and we are recommending
Jim Horsk and the Vehicle Savings Program to all of our customers and new enrollees.
Thank you for offering this great service. "
"Hi Lynn,
I picked up my new car on 10/17. This was the first time I used a car
buying service and the experience was wonderful. You guys did all of the work and I got
all the reward (a fair price for my new car) The last two times I have purchased cars
on my own, I always left feeling somehow that I was cheated, this was the best buying
experience for me.
Thanks Again,"
"Wow!
Thank you for such a great car shopping experience! We love our car!
Jim Horak did an outstanding job locating the 2002 Honda Civic we requested!
All the work was done very promptly and I never had to leave my house until
I went to approve my car. Considering the fact that when we usually car shop
we look for weeks and drive all over the place looking for the right car -
that saved us a lot of time and gas money.
From talking to the salesman I knew we got a better price than we would have gotten if we tried to
negotiate on our own (and I'm really good at negotiating!).
Before
I tell you my story, please allow me to acknowledge that
you and the Vehicle Advantage Savings program are phenomenal!
Thank you for being a stand for me and my very first brand
new car! Without you and your fantastic service I would
have spent just a touch more than I did, but probably
would have settled for far less car. My car is great --
it has AC, power locks, an outside temperature gauge,
lots of room, and I don't know yet what all else. And
... the final, final price was (hang on to your hat):
$14,599.45! My plates are only going to run about $200
and my insurance may not even go up. I feel like I can't
say thank you often enough or loud enough!
My
Story:
I
decided about 3 months ago that I would get serious about
buying a new car. I've never owned a New Car before;
I always bought pre-owned. I spent hours searching the
Internet for statistics and prices. I finally decided
I would check with my credit union on how much I could
realistically afford to finance and that would be my limit!
I would not spend over that for any amount of car. I knew
I wanted a Toyota Corolla; the next trick was to find
one in my price range. I also knew I really didn't want
to use my current car for a trade in. This was my decision
for myself, and I had not shared this information with
anyone.
On
a Monday, two weeks ago, I signed my loan papers. The
very next day, my 25-year old daughter called and was
bemoaning the fact that she and her husband really need
a second car but don't know how they can afford one right
now. (Hmmm-I wonder! Yes, I'm going to let her have my
old car, once I've fixed it up a bit.)
On
Thursday, May 1st, a friend and I attended the [company
meeting]. ...One of the new services announced was the
...Vehicle Savings plan. When I got home at about 9:30-10
p.m., I got online and signed up for the plan. I was so
excited that I really expected everyone else would be
as excited and I would get a call from the plan by Saturday.
Imagine
my upset when Monday arrived and I still hadn't heard
from anyone. I sent another email and within a couple
of hours I had a personal call from Ty Reed, [Manager]
of the Vehicle Savings plan! He was phenomenal and extremely
supportive. He explained how inundated they were with
requests, but he promised to work non-stop to get me the
best deal possible.
And
did he ever! Yesterday, less than 48 hours after my first
contact with Ty, I picked up my brand-spanking new
(132 miles-- new car smell & all) 2003 Silver Toyota
Corolla with automatic transmission and a few options!
Best of all, the final price I paid was about $600 less
than Ty and I discussed when he told me he found the car
-- AND BETTER STILL: If I had purchased this same car
on my own and had been willing to spend more than I had,
I would have spent $4,500 to $5,000 MORE!
And,
I got to do business with phenomenal people. Ty was awesome,
the Toyota Dealer was fantastic. It was the most exciting,
wonderfully pleasant experience I've ever had when buying
a car. All of the anxiety I felt was pleasant; like a
kid on Christmas morning. I don't feel like I was cheated
or taken advantage of, and I have a beautiful new car
that will last a long time!
Our
car shopping experience with Vehicle Advantage was excellent!
It
was rather ironic that we had just put an offer in on a
car the day prior to receiving the letter from [our company]
regarding the Vehicle Advantage Program. We were not having
success with the offer that we had put in and felt like
we were not getting a very good price.
We
told Ty what we were looking for and he got back to us within
24 hours with an offer on a different car at different dealer
that we could not refuse. We paid a little over $700 above
invoice on a brand new 2003 Toyota Sequoia Limited Edition.
The sticker price was $47,094 and we paid $42,550.
Our
communications with Ty were effective and efficient, and
we had no hassles with the dealership. In fact, when we
arrived to look at the vehicle it was all warmed up and
ready to go, and in upstate New York in January that's a
good thing!
Thanks
for allowing us to participate in the [company] Vehicle
Advantage Program!
I
am a single woman and I hate dealing with car decisions.
I have to say, I was really curious about the new service
offered by [my company] because making that car decision
was coming up real soon.
I
had a leased car expiring in August of this year. What should
I do? Should I buy the lease out, turn it in, lease another,
or buy a new car???? These were my questions. I decided
to give the service a try. I emailed a question explaining
my lease would be up in August and if they could possibly
help me in this area.
My
email was sent on 5/5/03, that same day I was personally
contacted... Ty asked a few questions about the lease and
my concerns, and what type of car I would have if I leased
or owned again.
I
said I would like to lease a new VW Black Bug Convertible.
I was told that this particular car is difficult to come
by because they are already sold before they come in; but
that didnt mean he couldnt find one. He made
phone calls to the dealerships and the next day I had the
manager of sales dealing directly with me.
By Friday, 5/9/03 a Black VW Bug Convertible was found.
I called my credit union and Saturday 5/10/03 I was scheduled
to pick the car up. Not only was my lease taken care of
early, the dealership picked up the last couple payments
and I saved money on my lease.
This
is incredible in itself but heres the real incredible
part.
Saturday
when I went to pick the car up, no paperwork was at the
dealership from my credit union. Ty was contacted and within
a half hour I was driving my car off the lot with an agreement
to come back Monday to finish up the paperwork.
Vehicle
Savings is such an incredible program... with VIP
customer service and old fashion trustworthiness that you
could only expect many years gone by.
What
a dream! Within a week my worries were over and I am driving
the car I had asked for.
